On Tuesday, 7th April, 2026, the Association of Ugandan-German Alumni(AUGA) bade farewell to Ms. Rebekka Junker, a board member and patron for the past 5 years. Ms. Junker also served as a DAAD lecturer at Makerere University, Uganda. She has been a great support to Ugandans applying for DAAD scholarships and those seeking information on studying in Germany. Ms. Junker has always been a key participant in all our alumni meetings and events. As she returns to Germany, she will surely be missed. We wish her great success in all future endeavours.
