The DAAD & Humboldt Community is already home to more than 20,000 members worldwide – all connected by one thing: at some point in their academic journey, they were supported by the DAAD or the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. It is a diverse, active network where ideas, opportunities and collaborations emerge every day.
The DAAD’s Centres of African Excellence team plans to invite all alumni of the DAAD’s Centres of African Excellence (CoAE) programme to join this platform in the near future. Before extending this invitation to the wider CoAE alumni community, however, we want to ensure that the platform offers a welcoming, engaging and genuinely valuable experience from day one.
To help us prepare for this launch, we are establishing a small pilot group of volunteer CoAE alumni. We are looking for early members who are interested in exploring the platform and sharing their experiences, ideas and expectations. Your feedback will help us shape a platform that truly reflects the needs and interests of the CoAE alumni community.
Why join the pilot?
By joining the pilot group, you will have the opportunity to explore the DAAD & Humboldt Community and discover how it can support networking, exchange and collaboration among CoAE alumni. You will:
- Explore the DAAD & Humboldt Community, including networking opportunities, events, mentoring and news.
- Share your experiences, ideas and expectations to help us understand what matters most to you and your peers.
- Help us identify which existing features, opportunities and resources are most valuable for the CoAE alumni community and how they can best be used.
- Contribute ideas that will help shape how the CoAE alumni community engages with the platform.
- Support us in preparing a welcoming and relevant experience before the wider invitation to all CoAE alumni.
