    Dr Julian Bbuye

    I Work with Ugamda Management Institute(UMI) in the School of Distance Lerning and Information Technology(SDL&IT) department of Distance learning. I am in charge of tutoring and support for distance learners. I have been greatly involved in the development of Open and  Distance Learning study materials and have gained skills and experience in that field.  I have facilitated more than 10 writing  writing workshops in Uganda Management Institute and Makerere University and  I do carry out, instruction design and editing of developed study materials, participating in the; distance learning. I have also been involved in curriculum development and  project feasibility studies. Carrying out monitoring and evaluation of student support systems in distance learning. And carrying out research in the field of distance learning with the aim of improving quality of provision of distance learning courses are some of my specialised fields.

    Iam a Ugandan aged 66 year, an educationist, working with educational Institutions mainly. I worked with Makerere University for 23 years and I have been working with Uganda management Institute for 6 years. I am married, and my husband is a farmer based in Mpigi District. We have  5 children, two girls and 3 boys, and all of them are married . I have a total of 15 grandchildren.
