Participants will be shown how to distinguish between the nature of parametric and non-parametric data and helped to understand when and why one should apply inferential statistics. Throughout the course you will be guided on how you can test and analyse these data sets by means of commonly used statistical techniques using freely available statistical software. We will work with Microsoft Excel Data Analysis Toolpak and BlueSky Statistics.
In all sections of the module, you will be provided with introductory material and/or reading, retrieval practices and practical assignments using the data provided and software downloaded.
Requirements for application:
- reliable knowledge of quantitative research methodology in general
- at best certified completion of the DIGI-FACE course Quantitative Research Methodologies I
