As part of its efforts to strengthen capacities in data analysis and scientific research, the Pro-RUWA project is organizing a hands-on training course on Python for students, PhD candidates, and researchers.

This training consists of two complementary and mandatory phases:

Phase 1: Self-Learning

Participants must successfully complete the online course available on the DigiFace platform before the start of the on-site training.

Phase 2: On-Site Training

Participants who successfully complete the first phase will be invited to take part in an intensive face-to-face practical training session.

Students, PhD candidates, and early-career researchers interested in data analysis and scientific programming.

🌍 Language of instruction: English

📍 Venue: FSA/UAC, Benin

⚠️ Participation requirements

  • Be available in Benin (Abomey-Calavi or surrounding areas) throughout the on-site training period;
  • Successfully complete the DigiFace self-learning course before the start of the on-site training;
  • Have an intermediate level of English, as the training is entirely conducted in English, both online and in person;
  • Provide the certificate of completion for the online course before the start of the on-site training.

⚠️ Maximum 20 participants.

Priority will be given to Pro-RUWA Master’s and PhD scholarship holders.

📌 Note: Participants who have already successfully completed the Spring Python course offered by Pro-RUWA may directly join the on-site practical training session and are not required to retake the online component.
