DIGI-FACE is delighted to announce that applications are now open for our first four micro-credentials.

DIGI-FACE is excited to invite postgraduate students to apply for our first set of micro-credentials – short, focused learning opportunities designed to build practical academic and professional skills that you can immediately put into practice.

Unlike a traditional course that requires a large time commitment, micro-credentials allow you to develop your skills in focused, achievable steps, giving you greater flexibility to manage your own academic and professional growth.

Participants can apply for one or more of the following micro-credentials:

  • Using Word for Professional Academic Communication
Designed to support postgraduate students in producing clear, well-structured and professional academic documents. Apply here for MC001
  • Academic Referencing: Principles, Practices, and Tools
Build your competence in applying different referencing styles accurately while learning to use digital tools for more efficient reference management. Apply here for MC002
  • Data Presentation: Tables and Figures
Develop practical skills for presenting quantitative and qualitative data clearly, ethically and professionally, using APA 7 guidelines for tables and figures. Apply here for MC003
  • Visual Communication: Canva, PowerPoint and Scientific Posters
Develop your visual design skills and confidence to create engaging professional presentations, academic posters and customised visual content. Apply here for MC004

Successfully complete a micro-credential and you will earn a DIGI-FACE digital badge. Complete all four linked micro-credentials and your four badges combine to earn the 60-hour DIGI-FACE Short Learning Programme certificate: Foundations of Academic & Professional Document Presentation.
