All DAAD-funded Centres of Excellence face the same challenge: sooner or later the funding will run out and the Centres will have to find other ways to cover their running costs. The most obvious way to do this is to offer courses for which participants have to pay. This is where DIGI-FACE comes in. DIGI-FACE not only provides you with a digital learning environment where you can offer paid courses. We also teach you what you need to know to get started.
The course Financial Sustainability II – Calculate Your Costs is open to anyone working for a DAAD-funded Centre of Excellence.
You will acquire basic skills that will help you to calculate realistic costs for the creation and operation of your online course in order to successfully offer fee-based online educational programmes in your academic institution through DIGI-FACE.
It’s a self-paced course on the Moodle platform with two live Zoom sessions and will be taught in both English and French.
