Course 4: Data Science with Python
This course will provide: (1) An introduction to Python as a powerful tool for data analysis and data science in general. (2) Practical coding examples for analysing a dataset.
This course will be offered in a fully self-paced e-learning format and will be taught by Dr. Alex Britz. You may need about 30 hours to finish the course.
Course 5: Introduction to Agent-Based Modeling (ABM Part 1)
This course will provide information on how to: (1) identify a CAS system, describe its relevant complex properties, such as emergence and scales, and link these complex properties with model components and dynamics (2) Document an existing ABM using a standard protocol. (3) Read and run NetLogo models using existing examples.
Participants who complete this course are welcome to attend the follow-up courses ABM 2 and ABM 3 upon request directly to the Pro-RUWA e-learning team.
This course requires about 8 hours to complete. It is taught by instructors from the University of Twente, Netherlands, and is fully self-paced.
