Conference Goal

The goal of the conference on “The Future of Educational Research in African Contexts” is to explore and discuss the challenges, opportunities, and potential future directions of educational research in African contexts. The conference aims to bring together scholars, researchers, educators, policymakers, and other stakeholders to share their experiences, knowledge, and insights on the current state of educational research in Africa, and to identify ways to enhance its quality and relevance. Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and paper presentations, the conference will examine a range of issues. Ultimately, the conference seeks to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among stakeholders in the field of educational research, and to contribute to the development of evidence-based policies and practices that can improve educational outcomes in African contexts.

We would like to invite you to contribute to an upcoming Conference

 The organizing committee, invites all interested individuals to submit abstracts for paper presentations. The sub-themes available for abstract submission include:

a) Research Methodologies in African contexts
b) Engagement for Social development
c) Science, Technology, Engineering and Arts Education (STEAM)
d) Education for sustainable development
e) Indigenous Knowledge and Culture
f) Digitalisation in Education
g) Competency Based Curricula
h) Cross-cutting theme

Guidelines for abstract & paper submission

• Times new Roman

• Font Size 12
• Spacing 1.5
• APA  Style of Referencing (7^th Edition)
• Paper to be submitted and presented in EnglishOral presentation of the papers shall take a maximum of 15 minutes, plus 10 minutes discussion
• Conference proceedings of all abstracts of the presentations held during the conference will be published online

• Deadline for submission of abstracts indicating the sub-theme (250-500 words)

• Deadline for submission of PowerPoint slides/pre-recorded videos
