Dr. Joelia Nasaka
Joelia is a wildlife biologist who holds a PhD in animal production, works with Makerere university - College of Veterinary medicine, animal resources and biosecurity in the Department of wildlife and aquatic animal resources. She has wide experience with one health training and practice. She is currently serving as the first female president for the Association of Ugandan Germany Alumni (AUGA) and previously she served as the General secretary for the same association. Joelia is a trail blazer and she puts her heart into whatever work that she does. She is an alumni of the Heidelberg Institute of public health summer course and is enthusiastic about public health in Uganda and global health.
