Course 1: GIS for beginners: GIS Beginner course aims to enhance basic knowledge and skills in GIS and remote sensing, such as creating a simple map, georeferencing, extracting information from Google Earth Pro, and analyzing and collecting spatial data for Agricultural sciences
Course 2: Introduction to Agent-Based Modeling (ABM Part 1)
This course will provide information on how to: (1) identify a CAS system, describe its relevant complex properties, such as emergence and scales, and link these complex properties with model components and dynamics. (2) Document an existing ABM using a standard protocol. (3) Read and run NetLogo models using existing examples.
Participants who complete this course are welcome to attend the follow-up courses ABM 2 and ABM 3 upon request directly to the Pro-RUWA e-learning team.
This course requires about 8 hours to complete. It is taught by instructors from the University of Twente, Netherlands, and is fully self-paced
