Launch of the agricultural entrepreneurship training workshop for 25 pre-incubated students from the Daniel Ouezzin Coulibaly University in Dédougou, Burkina Faso, from 24 to 27 September 2024. Starting this morning and continuing for 4 days, the students will receive theoretical and practical training in agricultural entrepreneurship. Modules such as entrepreneurship, the idea of an agricultural business project, agricultural entrepreneurial potential, the business and the process of setting up an agricultural business in Burkina Faso, drawing up a project (business plan) and marketing agricultural products, partnership financing and getting to know oneself and one’s partners will be taught to the participants. A practical phase involving visits to agricultural businesses and testimonials from agricultural entrepreneurs is planned to consolidate the knowledge acquired.

This training course has been made possible through to the financial support of the Pro-RUWA project and the technical expertise of the Regional Office of the National Employment Agency (ANPE) and organised by the Daniel Ouezzin Coulibaly University through the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Rural Development (ISEDR).
