    🌟 Exciting News – our DIGI-FACE February 2024 module applications are out! 🌟 Dive into the future with three modules starting in February, designed to elevate your skills and knowledge.

    Module 1: “Technology Enhanced Teaching and Learning” is for everyone who wants to discuss how to apply traditional teaching and learning principles to the digital realm. We welcome both lecturers and students.

    Module 2: “Quantitative Research Methodologies 1” introduces graduate students to the basics of the quantitative research process and descriptive statistics.

    Module 3: “Open Education, Copyright, Copyright and Open Licensing in a Digital World” will teach you how to harness the potential of open education to achieve your own learning goals, while meeting copyright obligations in a digital world. It will enable you to apply knowledge of copyright, Creative Commons open licenses, and license compatibility in your open education practice. This is a brand-new course that will be presented in French. Look out for the English run during the month of March!

    🌟 Nouvelle passionnante – nos candidatures au module DIGI-FACE de février 2024 sont sorties ! 🌟 Plongez dans le futur avec trois modules commençant en février, conçus pour élever vos compétences et vos connaissances.

    Module 1 : « Enseignement et apprentissage améliorés par la technologie » s’adresse à tous ceux qui souhaitent discuter de la manière d’appliquer les principes d’enseignement et d’apprentissage traditionnels au domaine numérique. Nous accueillons aussi bien les enseignants que les étudiants.

    Module 2 : « Méthodologies de recherche quantitative 1 » présente aux étudiants diplômés les bases du processus de recherche quantitative et des statistiques descriptives.

    Module 3 : « Éducation ouverte, droit d’auteur, droit d’auteur et licences ouvertes dans un monde numérique » vous apprendra comment exploiter le potentiel de l’éducation ouverte pour atteindre vos propres objectifs d’apprentissage, tout en respectant les obligations en matière de droit d’auteur dans un monde numérique. Il vous permettra d’appliquer vos connaissances sur le droit d’auteur, les licences ouvertes Creative Commons et la compatibilité des licences dans votre pratique d’éducation ouverte. Il s’agit d’un tout nouveau cours qui sera présenté en français. Attention à la course anglaise au mois de mars !

If you are working for DAAD or DIGI-FACE you are also staff.

      • An Alumni is a former student in a study programme at one of the universities which is participating at DIGI-FACE (African Centres of Excellence and its network). In many cases, part of one of the centres’ alumni associations.
    4. Lecturer
      • A Lecturer performs teaching and pedagogic work at one of the universities which is participating at DIGI-FACE (African Centres of Excellence and its network)
    5. Researcher
      • A researcher is an individual who is engaged in conducting research at one of the universities which is participating in DIGI-FACE (African Centres of Excellence, Global Centres and its networks). Researchers contribute to academic knowledge through studies, experiments, and publications in various fields of expertise.
