    I undertook training in Open and Distance-education and Learning (ODeL) where I am now able to develop course readers and materials for online teaching and learning. I participated in developing the Institute Masters in Business Administration Blended Learning course, where we developed course content and uploaded the course materials and activities. I participate on delivery of Institute program sessions using the online mode of delivery, specifically using Zoom. I have also attended the DIGIFACE Strengthening Postgraduate Supervision (SPS) course using Moodle mode to interact with the course units and attempt unit activities. Weekly zoom session were organised where Facilitators took us through the training. On completion of the SPS course, I was graded Highly Competent and enrolled as a Facilitator. The first round of facilitation was undertaken in the period September to December 2021, under the mentorship of DIGIFACE senior Facilitators. On successfully completing the trial-facilitation, I together with three colleagues were confirmed as Facilitators on the online programs and engagement is due to start in May 2022.

    2. Staff
      • Staff is everybody who works in the frame of a university which is participating at DIGI-FACE (African Centres of Excellence and its network) [(i.e. as coordinator, financial/administrative support, IT-support, learning designer, administrator etc.). If you are working for DAAD or DIGI-FACE you are also staff.
    3. Alumni
      • An Alumni is a former student in a study programme at one of the universities which is participating at DIGI-FACE (African Centres of Excellence and its network). In many cases, part of one of the centres’ alumni associations.
    4. Lecturer
      • A Lecturer performs teaching and pedagogic work at one of the universities which is participating at DIGI-FACE (African Centres of Excellence and its network)
