Facilitator for
Institution/Centre: East and South African-German Centre for Educational Research, Methodologies and Management (CERM-ESA)
Role at my institution: A Master’s Student
“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single stride”.
LEARNING: The online Modules are designed in a very clear and structural manner easier to handle activities with minimal guidance. The various platforms provided a warm environment for interaction with the peers, sharing knowledge and resources through the forum discussions. However, with regular feedback on the assignments I was able to do produce an excellent work at last.
TEACHING: Learning is a continuous process. The knowledge and skills gained from the learning module I had to extend them to other colleagues from various levels of learning after undergoing a facilitator’s training. The participants were very active both in the module platform and the zoom sessions held. Despite the internet connectivity issues, the whole journey was smooth. My happiest moment was seeing them graduate from the module, including, a participant with visual disability excelling too. I am a confident facilitator always ready to spread my wings.
