It is always a real pleasure to share with you the activities and initiatives we are undertaking to support youth in their professional development.
As part of the ongoing effort to better prepare agronomy students for the growing challenges of their future careers, a series of comprehensive training sessions was organized this year by the ProRUWA project, in collaboration with the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences (FSA).
The aim of the program is to inform students about the realities of entrepreneurship and give them tools they need to succeed in this field. Three key topics were explored during these sessions, led by experienced professionals who are also proud alumni of the same faculty.
The initiative received strong support from the Vice-Dean of the faculty, who wisely suggested integrating it into the curriculum review process, which aims to incorporate entrepreneurship modules. He took charge of scheduling, logistical coordination, and participant management.
The modules were delivered to third-year undergraduates from all disciplines, as well as students in the Master’s program (M2) in Integrated Animal Production Systems, with a total of 125 students attending for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Session Highlights:
