  • Day 1: Introduction to agroecosystem monitoring using UAVs
  • Day 2: Basics of drone flying (location tbd)
  • Day 3: Field mapping practice (location tbd)
  • Day 4: Processing of drone images

Date: 18-21 May 2025 at Universitรฉ Daniel Ouezzin Coulibaly, Dedougou, Burkina Faso

๐Ÿ” Requirements: Basic knowledge in GIS and remote sensing is necessary (e.g. completion of โ€œGIS for Beginnersโ€ from Pro-RUWA). Course will be in English but questions can be answered in French.

๐ŸŽ“ The course is primarily for Universitรฉ Daniel Ouezzin Coulibaly (UDOC) master and PhD and students and staff. Motivated candidates from Universitรฉ Abdou Moumouni, Niger (UAM) and University of Abomey-Calavi, Benin UAC are welcomeโ€”especially those willing to take future responsibility in this field. We might fund the travel expenses (depending on available budget by the end of the year) for those come from Niger and Benin based on local transport (no airfare).
