Two German higher education institutions, the University of Kassel and the University of Göttingen, are organizing training programmes for Germany Alumni on behalf of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). These programmes will be followed by participation in the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) and the Internationale Grüne Woche (International Green Week, IGW) in Berlin in 2026.

The itinerary of the SDG Alumni Project ‘Knowledge and Practice for Development’ is as follows:

Phase 1: 7–12 January 2026 – Training seminar at the universities in Germany
Phase 2: 13–19 January 2026 – Participation in the GFFA/IGW 2026 conference/trade fair in Berlin
