Our offer:
DAAD Scholarships are available for Master courses at selected institutions in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda.
Choose from a range of SDG-related disciplines, including:

  • Engineering
  • Natural Sciences
  • Public and Environmental Health
  • Agricultural Sciences
  • Social Sciences

Who can apply?

  • Graduates and postgraduates from Sub-Saharan Africa with
    a first academic degree if applying for a Master programme.
  • Female applicants and candidates from less privileged regions or
    groups are especially encouraged to participate in the
    programme!

Participants interested in pursuing a Master degree in either South Africa or Nigeria will benefit from knowing the following during this webinar: 
– the host institutions and courses that are funded through this scholarship 
– the requirements for applying for the scholarship 
– the structure and timelines of the scholarship programme 
 
The session will provide this information through a presentation followed by participant questions and answers.

During this session, participants interested in submitting their applications for the In-Country/In-Region Sub-Saharan scholarship programme will watch a live demonstration on how to submit their applications via the application portal. This will be followed by participant questions and answers.

Otherwise, please get in touch with the DAAD Regional Office for East Africa that regularly offers virtual information and counselling seminars (webinars) during the application period for the programme.
