The Leadership for Africa (LfA) Scholarship Programme aims to support the academic qualification and advancement of young refugees and national scholars from Benin, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana and Mauritania at higher education institutions in Germany. The LfA offers scholarships for Master’s degree courses in Germany to qualified applicants in all fields of study except medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, law, fine arts and architecture. All scholars will benefit from a complementary training programme in good governance, civil society and career development. The compulsory programme must be completed in addition to the regular course of study.

To find out more about the programme, including eligibility criteria, the value of the scholarship and how to apply, please visit the Call for Application on the DAAD website.

Please note that the DAAD also offers web information sessions for interested applicants who would like to find out more about the programme requirements and how to identify suitable Master’s programmes in Germany.
