Dr. Mercy Chemutai Barasa
I am an educational researcher and lecturer with a PhD in Educational Research and Evaluation and extensive expertise in research methodologies (quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods). My experience is in training and mentoring graduate students in research design, data analysis, and scholarly communication across Africa. I am currently serving as a lecturer in the school of education and a tutor on the Comp3 Modules on the DIGIFACE platform. I am a firm proponent of quality, equitable education on the African continent. I look forward to an Africa whose Education system is relevant and competitive in this Global age.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Science Education from Mbarara University of Science and Technology in Uganda (2010), and a Master's degree in Leadership in Educational institutions from Pan Africa Christian University in Nairobi, Kenya (2018). I have recently acquired a doctorate in Educational Research and Evaluation from Moi University in Kenya (2024).
