The World Food Programme (WFP) has signed an agreement with the University of Dar es Salaam Business School. Under this agreement, UDSM’s African Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Operations in Resource Management and Food Supply will serve as a technical partner for WFP’s smallholder farmers and market support programmes

WFP supports smallholder farmers and micro, small and medium enterprises involved in agriculture. Its interventions aim at strengthening the ecosystem in which smallholder farmers access affordable inputs, financial services and markets. The Agreement enables the two parties to collaborate on monitoring and evaluation including research, assessments and surveys.

The agreement was signed at the University of Dar es Salaam on November 27, 2023.
