Car crash accident on street with damaged automobiles after collision

While this MVA luckily had no major implications on the passengers, many others in Namibia do

Namibia is known for its fantastic landscapes, friendly people and amazing wildlife. Sadly, it is also one of the world leaders in fatalities on the roads and in the number of  MVAs in general. With research on the reasons being on an infant stage, it is however safe to suggest that driving under the influence, speeding and reckless driving in general play a substantial role.

Transport, road design, traffic in general and public transport – obviously these are key areas of a Logistics Centre, and NGCL sees itself in the responsibility to contribute to a safer Namibia. We have therefore launched a series of mini workshop where we will address the topic from different angles. Aiming at becoming the research leader on transport and logistics in Africa, we have taken a research-prone approach to the workshops, inviting those speakers and guests who can give insights and thus prompt reliable and excellent research from there on.
